Booking a Global Entry Interview at Albuquerque Enrollment Center
Step 1 – Apply for Global Entry
Start by applying for the Global Entry program on the DHS Trusted Traveler Programs website. A $100 fee covers a 5-year membership, and you’ll need to complete questions about your background.

Step 2 – Await Conditional Approval
Once your application is submitted, wait for conditional approval. This means you’ve been pre-approved but need an interview to complete the process. Processing times vary and can range from 24 hours to several months, depending on application volume and background checks.
Step 3 – Schedule Your Interview at Albuquerque Enrollment Center
With conditional approval, your next step is to schedule an interview at the Albuquerque Enrollment Center. Click the link below to access the DHS Trusted Traveler Program website:
- Navigate to your state (NM).
- Select Albuquerque Enrollment Center.
- Choose “Select This Location” to view available times and schedule your interview.
Step 4 – Avoid the Global Entry Interview Wait Time
If you see “No appointments available” or only distant dates at the Albuquerque Enrollment Center, don’t worry.

Directions: The Albuquerque Enrollment Center is situated inside Albuquerque International Sunport, on the ticketing level at the west end, near the United Airlines counter. Use exit ramp 221 off I-25.
Important Notes:
After your interview, please exit the enrollment center and wash your hands.
The Port of Albuquerque accepts only credit and debit card payments.
Please bring your passport and any necessary travel documents.
For Global Entry interviews, a valid passport book is required; passport cards or LPR cards alone are not accepted.
Renewals: If you’re renewing, consider scheduling a remote appointment.
To help reduce crowding, please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your scheduled interview.
Important: In-person interviews are fully booked most days, so walk-ins may not be accommodated promptly or guaranteed service without an appointment.
